Billie Sue Brooks Burleson Warren Crow went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. A visitation with her family will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, February 14, 2025. Sue was born November 25, 1938 to M L and Elizabeth (Hootsie) Brooks of Sherwood, Texas. Born and raised on a farm, she loved nature and all outside happenings. She attended school at Mertzon where she was in all the sports she could be in. She loved basketball and volleyball, playing them well into her 60’s. Sue attended every ball game she could for her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She married Roy Burleson in 1957 at Mertzon Baptist Church. They have two beautiful daughters, Karla and Sheri. Billie then married Pat Warren in 1972 and they acquired another beautiful daughter, Ashley, who was the apple of her daddy’s eye. Losing Pat in 2002, she then married Bill Crow. Sue lived in Big Spring, Texas for many years where she was Vice President of the Blue Blazers of the Chamber of Commerce there. She started her own business, Warren Bookkeeping and Tax Service in Big Spring. Sue did Income Tax Returns for over forty years along with her bookkeeping. She and Pat also had Warren Insulation Business and Warren Windshield Repair while in Big Spring. She loved the combination of her jobs; if she felt like going outside, she would do so and if she wanted to stay inside, she would do the bookkeeping. Sue worked at the Odessa YMCA, Big Spring YMCA and finally fifteen years at the Midland YMCA. Sue was active in many activities of the YMCA and never met a person that she didn’t like and therefore was liked by many (hopefully). Sue loved her Church and taught many a young people from the ages of five to nine. She is a member of Northwestern Baptist Church and loved each member with all her heart.

Sue is survived by her daughters, Karla Burleson, Sheri Kligora & Ashley Rupert and husband, Byrun; her brother, Freddie Brooks and his wife, Linda; her sister, Bobbie Ann Williams and her husband, Bobbie; her brother, William (Sonny) Brooks and his wife, Judy; she is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great niece Amanda Tingle and great nephew Christopher Tingle, who were like her children; two grandsons, T J and Brandon Pfannenstiel and their spouses, and a special granddaughter, Brooke; grandchildren, Holly, Mercy & Nathan; great grandchildren, Brayden, Ty, Henley, Skylar and Abagail; two special great-great nephews, Jayden and Kayden; cousins, Tammy, Dale, Kobi, Josh, Kristi, Charles and many other loved ones; and many-many friends.
