DECATUR – The Brownwood Lions track and field team competed at the Decatur Invitational this past Thursday.

Highlights for the varsity boys are as follows:

1st place – Sprint medley relay of Raven Prado, Trent Buffington, Grant Gray, Aaron Edmonds

2nd place – Trae Jones in the 300-meter hurdles

4th place – Trae Jones in the 110-meter hurdles; Caven Webster in the 100 meters; 4×400 relay of Raven Prado, Grant Gray, Caden Wilson, Sirr Beam; Wyatt Wolf in the pole vault

5th place – Aaron Edmonds in the 100 meters

6th place – Sirr Beam in the 300-meter hurdles; Case Burnett in the pole vault

Highlights for the varsity boys are as follows:

1st place – 4×400 relay of Jacob Green, Kasyn Wooten, Daniel Bates, Eduardo Hernandez; Blayne Stegemoller in the discus

2nd place – Christian Gray in the shot put

4th place – Sprint medley relay of Eduardo Hernandez, Aiden Jimenez, Nick Rodriguez, Jacob Green; Julio Fletes in the shot put

6th place – Kasyn Wooten in the 200 meters; Christian Gray in the discus

The Lions will compete at the Weatherford Invitational Thursday while the Lady Lions will be in action at the Wall Invitational.
