Calvin Tillman to speak at PVRW meeting Feb. 20

The Pecan Valley Republican Women cordially invites the community to attend this month’s meeting Thursday, February 20, 2025. The meeting will be held at the Brownwood Country Club.  Buffet opens at 5:30, program starts at 6:00 pm

Membership is not required.  PLEASE RSVP TO REBECCA, 325-998-3880 by Tuesday February 18 to ensure enough food is prepared by the Country Club Buffet. ($17 CASH ONLY) Buffet will be available if we get a minimum of 25 RSVP’S.     Otherwise, menu items will be available.

Calvin Tillman is the president and cofounder of the Cooke County Conservatives. The Cooke County Conservatives is a grassroots organization whose purpose is to educate and organize around conservative principals. This organization is part of a larger grassroots coalition across the State of Texas. During the Texas legislative session Calvin travels to Austin to advocate for conservative legislation, speaking with legislators and testifying on priority legislation, focusing on private property rights, parental rights, and medical freedom. Prior to moving to Cooke County, Calvin served 4 terms in local government, including 2 terms as Mayor of DISH, TX  and one term on the Aubrey, TX City Council, both rural towns in Denton County. Calvin was recognized as a 2023 Freedom Fighter of the year by Grassroots America We the People.

Calvin currently lives in Valley View, TX with his wife Tiffiney and their three children. The family attends The Fold Church in Gainesville, TX.
