ROBINSON – The Brownwood Lady Lions battled the Robinson Lady Rockets to a scoreless tie Friday in non-district soccer action

Autumn Reeves, Braycee Lee and Alma Bernal fired shots for the Lady Lions (11-3-1), who were turned away by Robinson (5-4-2).

“Despite have the majority of the time of possession, we couldn’t find a way to finish the ball,” said Lady Lions head coach Alexis Walker.

Defensively, Noemi Ceniceros recorded 14 saves for Brownwood.

The Lady Lions seek a 2-0 start to District 5-4A action at 5 p.m. Tuesday when they visit Little River Academy (6-3-1, 0-1) vs. Friday to a Lampasas team that Brownwood defeated in the district opener 3-0 this past Tuesday.
