The following Heartland REALTOR® members have been selected to participate in their first Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program; Ashton Hinton with Mark Campbell Coldwell Banker and Associates, Paula Gilliam owner of Texas Realty, LLC, Carrie Dunn and Nicola Drosche, both with Ann Jones Real Estate.

Ashton Hinton currently serves as the Heartland REALTORS® YPN Chair. She is an active leader serving on our Community Investment and Involvement and Governmental Affairs committees in addition to her YPN responsibilities.

Paula Gilliam recently took over full ownership of Texas Realty. She serves on our YPN and MLS committees. She previously served as a Director on our board overseeing our Governance Committee.

Nicola Drosche is the past chair of Heartland’s YPN Committee and currently serves on the board as Director for our Multiple Listing Service (MLS).

Carrie Dunn is the 2025 President Elect for Heartland REALTORS® and also serves on our Governance Committee.

The Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program is administered by Texas REALTORS® in Austin and hosted throughout the state by various local REALTOR® associations. This is a leadership class of the West Texas Education Coalition comprised of the Abilene, Heartland, San Angelo, Permian Basin, and Odessa Associations of REALTORS®. Participants must apply and be selected by the associations to participate in the program.

The program delivers an innovative and well-rounded curriculum that gives self-motivated learners the opportunity for leadership development in the context of a learning community. Its mission is to cultivate future leaders by educating and encouraging participants to undertake leadership roles, and instructing them on how to utilize their assets and resources to effect change and make a difference in their professional and personal areas of interest.

The program offers lectures, seminars, guest speakers, and exercises that address vital issues affecting REALTORS®. Exposure to different perspectives from various leaders and decision makers helps participants hone their planning, problem solving, and other leadership skills.

These individuals have made a time and financial commitment to personal and professional growth and we are proud to have them representing Heartland REALTORS®
