Susan D. Harwell

Susan D. Harwell, age 78, of Brownwood, passed away from this life on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Abilene. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, February 6, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Funeral services for Susan will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 7, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood.

Susan was born on October 31, 1946 in Brownwood to Eual (Bud) and Jewel Allgood. Susan married Bobby Harwell on March 5, 2004 in Brownwood. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Brownwood for many years. Susan loved puzzles, playing slots and gambling. Most of all, she loved the company of her family and her grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her children, Buddy Allgood, Morrisa Sutherland and husband Mike, Dale Harwell and wife Debra, Martha Bell and husband Tommy, Bobby Harwell, Robbye Dean, Sam Harwell, and Christy Bates; 13 grandchildren, Brandon, Arron, Amanda, Whitney, Tim, Shyan, Hollie, Kandice, Deanna, Justin, Breanna, Krista, and Nyshia; numerous great grandchildren; and brother, Eual Allgood. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Jewel Allgood, husband, Bobby Allgood, sister Pat Guill; brother, Frank Allgood, and son, Frankie White.
