LAMPASAS – The Brownwood Lady Lions soccer team kicked off District 5-4A competition with a 3-0 road victory over Lampasas Tuesday night.

Three Lady Lions (11-3, 1-0) recorded goals as Autumn Reeves, Jacklyn Lewis, and Isabella Garza each found the net, while Braycee Lee and Madison Weckwerth contributed assists.

Noemi Ceniceros recorded the shutout in goal against Lampasas (1-7, 0-1), the 10th of the season for Brownwood.

The Lady Lions are back in non-district action at 5:30 p.m. Friday as they visit Robinson, then travel to Little River Academy at 5 p.m. Tuesday to resume 5-4A competition.
