Genaro Rodriguez “Henry” Reyes, Jr., age 56, of Brady, Texas passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, in San Angelo, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones. Henry was born April 1, 1968, in Brady, Texas to Genaro Luera Reys, Sr. and Olvia (Rodriguez) Reyes, Henry was a lifelong resident of Brady. He was the proud owner and operator of H.R. Goats, where he specialized in custom meat processing for the public and many local hunting ranches. Through hard work and dedication, he fulfilled his lifelong dream, achieving a record-breaking year with his team. Henry was known for his generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a heart of gold and was the rock of his family. A devoted husband, father, and provider, he extended his love and guidance not only to his own children but also to his nieces and nephews. His faith in God was unwavering, and he lived his life with kindness and devotion to his family and community. He was a loving husband and father. Henry’s kindness, generosity, and dedication will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and hard work will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held in Henry’s honor from 3:00pm to 5:00pm Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady, followed by dinner at Sanctuary in the Heart. Friends may view Henry’s Memorial Video Tribute and/or sign his online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.

Henry is survived by his loving mother Olivia Rodriguez Reyes of Brady, TX; his beloved wife Maria Campos of the home; son Henry Allen Reyes of Austin, TX; step-son Xavier Zapata and wife Kember Jenkins of Brady, TX; step-daughters Natalia Zapata of San Antonio, TX and Alessandra Zapata of Brady, TX; brother Samuel Juarez of Brady, TX; sister Delilah Reyes and husband Vernon Jones, Jr. of Seguin, TX and three cherished grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Genaro Luera Reyes, Sr., brothers Gilbert Juarez and Andy Juarez and sister Mary Jane Rawling.
