Steve Osborn, 68, of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on January 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity.

Steve loved rock n’ roll, watching NASCAR, and vacationing in Mexico. He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was cruising to his favorite tunes, cheering on a race, or soaking up the sun on a sandy beach. His warm heart, quick wit, and kind spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Sarah Boyle, and her husband, Patrick Boyle, of Austin, Texas; his sisters, Mona Walker and Tina Frost of Austin, Texas, and Debby Osborn of San Antonio, Texas; and his cherished granddaughters, Amelia and Evelyn of Austin, Texas. Steve was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Monena and Tommy Thompson; his father and stepmother, James and Peggy Osborn; and his brother, Michael Osborn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to PAWS Shelter of Central Texas in honor of Steve’s beloved dachshund, Frankie.

Steve’s adventurous spirit and kind heart will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Online condolences, memories, and tributes to family can be shared at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
