Abstract oil and cold wax painter Sherri Harris will be at the Brownwood Art Center this Saturday, Feb. 1, to give a free Art Talk and Demonstration from 1-2;30 pm.  The Art Center is at 215 Fisk, in downtown Brownwood.

During this special event, Ms. Harris will share her inspiring journey into the world of abstract art and offer a captivating demonstration of her unique cold wax painting process. This Art Talk will be held concurrently with the judging of the Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit. Light refreshments will be served.

According to her website, “Sherri’s work is characterized by a contemplative and reflective approach, utilizing layers to create depth and mystery.”  She says that “Life moves so fast, my art encourages you to slow down and see the beauty that surrounds us every day.”

To see Sherri’s art, including abstracts, abstracted landscapes and seascapes, and contemplative and reflective art, visit her website https://www.sherriharrisfineart.com/about
