Ronald Leslie Pinkard

Ronald Leslie Pinkard, age 75, passed away on January 23, 2025. 

He was born on December 10, 1949 in Abilene, Texas.  

He was proceeded in death by his parents Reginald Pinkard and Wanona Pinkard and brothers and Larry and Steven Pinkard. 

He is survived by his loving wife Deborah Pinkard of 53 years 10 months; 3 children Kelley Pinkard Cook and husband Johnny Cook, Danise Pinkard Branning, and David Pinkard. 7 grandchildren Colten Cook, Shadoe Cook, Kaitlynn Branning, Caleb Pinkard, Eliahana Pinkard, Lainey Pinkard, and Zoe Pinkard. 1 nephew Shawn Pinkard, 2 nieces Michelle Pinkard Kirk and Melanie Pinkard Glass. Ex Son-in-law Jason Branning and Ex Daughter-in-law Claudia Pinkard. He leaves behind many friends and neighbors. 

He graduated from Sidney High School in 1967. He studied General Agriculture at Tarleton and graduated in 1971.

He worked in Concrete Construction for over 25 years. He continued working his farm and ranch throughout his life. 

The most important thing in his life was his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved country and farm life. He will be missed.

The family will celebrate Ronnie’s life with his inurnment in Sidney Texas, at the Pendergrass Cemetery, 12:15 p.m. Saturday February 1, 2025. It will be followed by a gathering of his family and friends at the Comanche Community Center, 100 Indian Creek Dr, Comanche TX 76442

Arrangements are with Heartland Funeral Home of Comanche.
