BURNET – The Brownwood Lady Lions soccer team remained undefeated with a pair of victories at the Burnet tournament Friday.

First, the Lady Lions outlasted the host Burnet in a penalty shootout following a scoreless tie in regulation. Brownwood received goals from Braycee Lee, Isabella Garza and Alma Bernal, while Noemi Ceniceros recorded three saves.

The Lady Lions followed with a 2-0 triumph over Killeen Ellison as Bernal tallied a goal and then assisted Kynlie Lewis on a goal.

Brownwood (7-0), which allowed just one goal in regulation thus far, concludes tournament action at 10:30 a.m. Saturday against Pflugerville Connally.
