Helen Marie (Eisenbeck) Roberts, 96, of Lake Brownwood passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024. Visitation with family will be held before the service at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in the Chapel at Heartland Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rocky Creek Cemetery.

Helen was born August 16, 1928 in Rowena, Texas to Robert Edwin Eisenbeck and Helen Emily (Stork) Eisenbeck. She graduated from Lake View and attended Business College where she graduated and started working at the phone company. Helen married Adair V. Roberts “AV” on August 20, 1946 in Lampasas, Texas. She became a homemaker and travelled with A.V. all over as he worked for the railroad and was constantly moving. When they finally settled in Shamrock Shores at Lake Brownwood, Helen became very active at the Grace Lutheran Church and she got to enjoy her flowers, bird watching and crossword puzzles. Helen and A.V. lived in Shamrock Shores from the mid 1980’s until A.V. passed in 2009. Helen lived there until 2020 when she moved to San Angelo to be closer to her nephew. Helen was a loving sister, wife and aunt. She will be missed dearly.

Helen is survived by her sisters, Jeanne Ransom of Colorado Springs, CO & Marjorie Hollowell of Winters, TX; brother, Lynn Eisenbeck and wife, Louine of Dallas; her nephew that she raised, Stephen Whitaker and wife Becky of San Angelo, Texas; many other nephews and nieces, church family and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, A.V. Roberts; and her parents, Robert and Helen Eisenbeck; a brother, Robert Eisenbeck; and a sister, Sally Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that loved ones donate to a charity of their choice.

Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
