Seven sentences handed down in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

  • Kelsi Lee Lamb, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, was adjudicated and sentenced to 8 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Jay Herman aka Herman Jay pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Sandra Espitia, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Tyler Austin Wylie, on probation for the felony offense of Evading Arrest, was revoked and sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Wylie, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger, was revoked and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Arian Petross pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Matthew Kellems pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Jessica Marie Gomez aka Jessica Marie Martinez pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
