Fishing Reports 12/11/24

The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of December 11:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water stained; 63 degrees; 0.36 feet above pool. Black bass to 4.50 pounds are slow on Tsunami 1/2 ounce jigs in Juice Box or Hubbard Craw in 1-5 feet on the ledges, or with crankbaits off the rocks in the deep pockets, 3-8 feet. Crappie are slow on white or black and chartreuse jigs and some off shore brush piles. White bass are fair on crankbaits and jigs scattered around the lake. Catfish are slow on cut bait.

LAKE CISCO

GOOD. Water slight stain; 63 degrees; 12.17 feet below pool. Blues are biting good on cut bait. Crappie are hitting minnows in 30 feet of water. Report by Lake Cisco Rentals.

LAKE COLEMAN

SLOW. Water normal stain; 65 degrees; 0.09 feet above pool. Lots of freshwater in the lake slowing the bite until the water settles. Largemouth bass are dispersed throughout the lake relating primarily near stumps and boat houses. Crappie are slow with jigs and minnows.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 54 degrees; 22.62 feet below pool. The upper end continues to be muddy but clearing. Some fish to 6 pounds are shallow out to 5 feet of water on spinnerbaits, Hags hurricane chatterbaits and a Rage tail Menace on a Texas Rig. A couple of bass to 7 pounds on Alabama Rig near Gatlin Creek and in front of the dam. Crappie are fair in deeper trees along the main river channel in front of Elm Creek. Some crappie to 2 pounds reported. White bass slow on slabs suspended over River channels in front of the dam. Catfish fair on rod-and-reel with shrimp and stink bait in 8-12 feet of water around brush. Report by Wendell Ramsey, Ramsey Fishing.

LAKE PROCTOR

FAIR. Water stained; 60 degrees; 0.22 feet above pool. Catfish are good on cut bait. Hybrid bass are good on swimbaits.
