DE LEON – The May Tigers improved to 4-1 on the season with a 52-29 victory over Eastland Thursday in their De Leon tournament opener.

The Tigers led 21-10 after the first period, 34-19 at halftime, and 38-24 through three quarters.

Led the way offensively for May were Jackson Lusk and Ben Harrell with 13 points apiece, Kobey Morris with nine, Lane Goodson and Mikey Scheriger with four each, and Brody Stice, Kaden Watkins, and JD White with two points apiece.

May is scheduled to face tournament host De Leon Friday.
