Linda Starnes

Linda Lou Gragg-Starnes, of San Saba, Texas passed away on November 30, 2024. Born on May 22, 1942, in Sinking Spring, Ohio to Walter Ray Gragg, and Mildred Paulina Skidmore-Gragg.

Linda was the oldest of 6 children. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her stepfather Charles Rhodes, all of Ohio, in addition to her husband Clegg Starnes, formerly of Monroe, NC.

Linda is survived by her children, Dawna (Chris) Weaver of Benson, NC. Rick (Alisha) Satterfield of Latham, OH. Five brothers, Steve (Pat) Gragg of SC, Robert (Earlene) Gragg of OH, Rick (Barbara) Gragg of TN, Doug Gragg of TN, Charles Gragg of OH. One granddaughter, Amanda (Eric) Sibrizzi of Garner, NC. Two grandsons, Trey Alexander and Wesley Allen Satterfield of Latham, OH. And two great grandchildren, Addison Michael Sibrizzi, and Carson Grace Sibrizzi. Plus, many beloved nieces and nephews.

After graduating high school in 1960, Linda attended nursing school at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1963. Linda had a lifelong love of books. She also enjoyed traveling which is how she came to settle in San Saba, Texas.

The family will hold a private memorial service for Linda on the east coast. Arrangements are to be determined at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
