Fishing Reports 12/4/24

The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of December 4:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water stained; 62 degrees; 0.37 feet above pool. Black bass to 9.23 pounds are fair on Tsunami �½ ounce jigs in 1-5 feet of water and Hags Hurricane Bladed jigs in the grass and weeds. Also on crankbaits off the rocks in 3-8 feet around the rock cuts and flats. Crappie are slow on white or black and chartreuse jigs and some offshore brush piles. White bass are slow on crankbaits and slabs scattered around the lake. Catfish are slow on cut bait.

LAKE CISCO

GOOD. Water slight stain; 63 degrees; 12.18 feet below pool. Blues are biting good on cut bait. Crappie are hitting minnows in 30 feet of water. Report by Lake Cisco Rentals.

LAKE COLEMAN

SLOW. Water normal stain; 65 degrees; 0.08 feet above pool. Lots of freshwater in the lake slowing the bite until the water settles. Largemouth bass are dispersed throughout the lake relating primarily near stumps and boat houses. Crappie are slow with jigs and minnows.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 61 degrees; 22.57 feet below pool. Water temps 58 to 61°. Upper end still stained and slow fishing. Black bass slow to 6 lb. Starting to see big schools of thread fin on Main Lake with bass following. Small minnows jerk baits and jigs. Bass till shallow with ChatterBait and brush and 5 ft or less. Crappie are fair on Main Lake trees in 30 plus foot. Minnows best butt a lot of crappie on small jigs pink or silver. White bass down there the damn spooning and tail Spinners good. Catfish fair on cut bait and jug lines shrimp. Report by Wendell Ramsey, Ramsey Fishing.

LAKE PROCTOR

FAIR. Water stained; 65 degrees; 0.34 feet above pool. Catfish are good on juglines. Hybrid bass are schooling in the morning under the birds.
