HAMILTON – The Brownwood Lady Lions notched their second victory of the day Thursday afternoon at the Hamilton tournament, toppling Tolar by a 37-32 count.

The Lady Lions (6-1) – who earlier Thursday knocked off tournament host Hamilton, 47-38 – led Tolar 11-3 after one quarter, 25-15 at halftime and 29-19 heading into the fourth period.

For the second time in three games, Trinity Roberts eclipsed the 20-point mark with a team-high 22 trailed by five from Icess Hall, three each from Jade Morin and Hannah Deen and two points apiece from Lanie Johnson and Nylah Hall.

The Lady Lions wrap up pool play at the Hamilton tournament at 9:50 a.m. Friday and will conclude tournament action Saturday.
