The Vineyard Night in White, hosted by CASA in the Heart of Texas, was a spectacular success, raising thousands of dollars to support children and families in Comanche, Mills, and Brown counties. The event, held on November 16th, 2024, at Brennan Vineyards in Comanche, TX, brought together community leaders, supporters, and friends of CASA for a memorable evening of food, fun, dancing, and fundraising.

CASA in the Heart of Texas would like to express its heartfelt thanks to the community for making the event a resounding success, with a special focus on our major sponsors:

  • Brookshire’s Grocery

  • Brennan Vineyards

  • The Homestead Chef

  • The Heart Gallery

  • Tall Texan Entertainment

  • CCMC Health Systems

These generous sponsors made it possible to offer a first-class experience while ensuring that all proceeds from the event directly benefit CASA’s mission to advocate for children in foster care. CASA’s volunteers and board members also worked tirelessly to make the event possible, and we are deeply grateful for their support.

The night featured a beautiful selection of The Homestead Chef’s catered hors d’oeuvres, sponsored by Brookshire’s Grocery, Brennan Vineyards wine, and an exciting silent dessert auction that showcased the incredible talent and generosity of local bakers.. We are especially grateful to all of the community members who donated their time and talents to contribute to our Dessert Auction. This year, we had an astonishing 29 different desserts, including cookies, cakes, sweet breads, and more. Special thanks go to United Supermarkets Bakery, Tricia Clemmer, LeCorya Wanda Lowery (Zhymara’s Bakery), Rebecca Morelock (Baked Artisan Goods), Meagan Reed (Meg’s Sweet Treats), Billie Engle, Goldthwaite Culinary Arts, Susan PK Richardson, Lisa Ritter, Cindy Newman, Bethany Wigham, Rose Wigham, Carol Jarvis Deal, Yveth Razo, Janet Peterson, Coachmama’s, Denise Imiola, Stephanie Brownlee, and Jenna Hale for their generous dessert donations.

The evening also included a lively dance floor, powered by Tall Texan Entertainment, which kept guests dancing and enjoying themselves well into the night. The fun was balanced by our raffle, featuring amazing prizes like a “Pamper Me” spa package and a “Great Outdoors” package.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, guests, and everyone who attended, Vineyard Night in White raised thousands of dollars that will directly support CASA’s programs, allowing us to continue training advocate volunteers and providing critical services for children in foster care. Every dollar raised will help ensure that every child has an advocate who can speak up for them and ensure their needs are met.

“We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from our community,” said Beth Loftis, Executive Director of CASA in the Heart of Texas. “Last night’s event was more than just a fundraiser—it was a celebration of the incredible generosity and commitment of everyone involved. I am so grateful to everyone who attended, contributed, and volunteered their time and resources. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of children who need us most.”

CASA in the Heart of Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for children in foster care. All proceeds from the event go directly to funding CASA’s programs and services.

Looking Ahead:
As we approach the holiday season, CASA in the Heart of Texas is still seeking individuals and families who are interested in hosting a CASA child or youth during the holidays. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a child’s holiday season brighter and ensure they experience love and support during this special time of year.

In addition, we are currently running a pajama drive to collect new pajamas for children in foster care. Pajamas are often the most requested item, and your donation can bring comfort and warmth to children in need. The pajama drive will run through January, and we encourage everyone to contribute.

We would also like to extend our thanks to our amazing volunteers and board members who worked tirelessly before, during, and after the event to ensure everything ran smoothly. Your passion and dedication are the backbone of our success.

About CASA in the Heart of Texas:
