Cynthia Anne Adams

Cynthia Anne Adams, age 81, of Killeen, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024. Funeral services for Cynthia will be held on Saturday, November 23 at 2:00 PM at Heartland Funeral Home in Early with visitation held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM

Cynthia was born on October 1, 1943 in New London, Connecticut to Charles Lloyd and Geneva Eloise Cavanaugh. She earned an Associates Degree in Medical Transcription. Cynthia married Kenneth Adams on January 13,1962 in Washington DC and they began their beautiful life together that included having four daughters.

Cynthia worked as the Attendance Secretary for the Killeen Independent School District for many years. She was a member of the Catholic church. Cynthia had many interests and enjoyed bird watching, attending concerts and Broadway shows, watching her squirrels and cuddling with her puppies. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Christine Adams Hood, Katherine Adams, Kimberly Adams and Debra Adams George and husband Charles; brother, Michael Cavanaugh; grandchildren, Charotte Jackson, Vicki Holly and husband Elmer, Kaitlyn Deviney and husband Bailey, Brittney Alarcon and husband Andrew, Michal Affron and wife Rachel, Megan George, Matthew George and wife Taylor; 15 great-grandchildren as well as many close friends.

Cynthia was preceded in death by both of her parents and her beloved husband.
