ABILENE – The May Lady Tigers improved to 2-1 on the basketball season with a 46-19 road victory over Class 5A Abilene Cooper Tuesday night.

May led 11-4 after one quarter, 22-11 at halftime and 33-19 through three periods.

The Lady Tigers received 16 points from Jordyn Gerhardt, 10 from McKenna Landes, seven from Mia Musick, five each from Chloe Lord and Kenlyn King and three points from Aubree Gerhardt.

May will face Hermleigh at 4 p.m. Saturday in Eula in its next action.
