Dick Dwayne Goldston, age 76 of Rising Star, Texas passed away Saturday, November 02, 2024 in Abilene, Tx.

Dick was born on January 09, 1948 in Amherst, Texas to Dick Goldston and Ruby Leverett. He married Brenda Bailey at the Rising Star Church of Christ on January 24, 1969. Dick was a chemistry and math teacher for 7 years before pursuing another career in pharmaceuticals for 30 years. He would become the national and top salesman selling lab equipment to other companies. He was often awarded vacations for his achievement in sales and would travel all over the country. After retiring he would settle down with Brenda and become a rancher handling Angus cattle before passing it to his sons.

Dick is survived by his wife, Brenda Goldston; son, Chad & wife Annissa Goldston; son, Kevin & wife Dana Goldson; grandchildren, Garrett Judd, Ryan Goldston, Tanner Goldston, Evan Judd, Justin & wife Haylea Goldston, Jacee Judd, and Mia Goldston; great-grandchildren, Elaina Judd; brother, Randy Goldston; niece, Brandi Goldston; and nephew, Dustin Goldston.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dick Goldston and Ruby Leverett; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Church of Christ in Rising Star, Texas. The burial will follow the service at the Elm Cemetery in Carbon, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, November 8 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. at Higginbotham Funeral Home located at 309 N E 4th Street, Cross Plains, Texas.
