The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the 16th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade, presented by AccelHealth, on Thursday, December 5, 2024. This beloved community event attracts thousands of residents and visitors, creating a magical holiday evening filled with festive lights, music, and cheer in downtown Brownwood.

Parade Route

The parade will kick off at 6:15 PM from Adams Street, proceeding up Center Street, turning onto South Broadway, continuing down Fisk Street, and then heading along Baker Street back to the Staging Grounds. This year’s parade will pass in front of the courthouse for all to enjoy, with live-streaming available on Facebook and other social media channels.

Registration for the parade opens on November 1 and will be limited to 100 floats. Chamber members will have exclusive access to register until November 15, after which registration will be open to non-members.

• Fees: $25 for nonprofits, $50 for Chamber members, and $80 for non-members.

• Float Specifications: Trucks and trailers are limited to 35 feet in length.

• School Entries: Please contact the chamber.

• Candy: Participants distributing candy must pass it out by hand; throwing candy from floats is not allowed.
