A memorial service for Phyllis Barbara Allen, age 76, of Early, will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Bobby Machen officiating.

Phyllis passed from this life on October 28, 2024.

Phyllis Barbara Vodicka was born on December 2, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio to James and Phyllis (Starnick) Vodicka. She married Roger Q. Allen on July 10, 1981, in Lakewood, Ohio. Phyllis enjoyed bowling, tending to her plants, watching baseball and NASCAR, looking after her cats, and everything Elvis.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 43 years, Roger Q. Allen of Early, daughter, Colleen E. Itani, five grandchildren, Ian and Stephanie Itani, Issam and Taylor Itani, Samer Itani, Salah Itani, and Dana Haigh; seven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Mike Allen and wife Martha, and brother and sister-in-law, Rod Carpenter and wife Nancy.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Eileen Allen, and a son, David Allen.
