After six weeks of hosting Beginner Ballroom Dance classes, the Brownwood Art Center will host its first Dance Party next Tuesday evening, Oct. 29, from 7-9 pm.  The Art Center is located at 215 Fisk in downtown Brownwood.   The cost is $10 per person, cash, check or card.   All experience levels are welcome, and recommended attire is casual and comfortable.

Door opens at 6:45.  The party starts with a Salsa dance lesson from 7-7:30, with instructor Bill Bradley.  The party  then continues until 9 pm.  Bill says “So far in the Ballroom Dance class we’ve covered the Fox Trot, Waltz, Swing, and Rumba, so I’ll be playing music for those styles, and more.  Anyone who loves to dance is welcome.”

Bring your own water and/or non-alcoholic beverages.  There will be no food or beverage sales at this event.

Beginner Ballroom Dance classes are ongoing at the Art Center.  The cost is $10 per person, and no pre-registration or partner is required—just show up.   Class is from 7:30-9:00 pm, continuing weekly every Tuesday evening.

For more information about the Brownwood Art Association, and Art Center activities, including exhibits, special interest groups, events, and renting the Art Center, follow the BAA on Facebook, and visit the website, brownwoodart.net.  Regular gallery hours are 2-6 pm, Mon.-Fri.  325-641-2916
