Ranger College hosted its annual gala on September 28, 2024, at The Lumberyard in Eastland, marking an extraordinary evening of celebration and recognition. The event brought together alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to honor outstanding contributions to the college and its community.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Coach Ron Butler. Affectionately known as “Mr. Ranger College,” Coach Butler dedicated 36 years to the college, serving as Athletic Director and coach, and leaving a profound impact on countless students and athletes. His leadership and vision not only enhanced the college’s athletic programs but also strengthened the community’s connection to Ranger College.

In addition to honoring Coach Butler, Ranger College proudly recognized Mr. and Mrs. Warford with the Distinguished Donor Award. Their generous contributions and unwavering support have been instrumental in advancing the college’s mission and enhancing educational opportunities for students. The Warfords’ philanthropy has made a significant difference in the lives of many, and Ranger College is deeply grateful for their dedication and support.

The gala was not only a night to honor these remarkable individuals but also an opportunity for attendees to enjoy an evening of entertainment, camaraderie, and fundraising to support the college’s continued growth and success.

Ranger College extends heartfelt thanks to all who attended and contributed to making the event a memorable success. The college looks forward to another year of excellence and community engagement.
