STEPHENVILLE – The Brownwood Lady Lions slipped to 0-4 against District 6-4A volleyball foes and 13-17 overall following Tuesday’s 25-17, 26-24, 25-11 loss at Stephenville.

Aniah Hines led Brownwood with six kills trailed by Hannah Deen with five Aubrie Felux with four, and Miranda Northcutt and Trinity Roberts with three apiece.

Icess Hall recorded 12 assists followed by Hines with six and Felux with three.

Felux served two aces and Hines contributed one.

On defense, Maddi Scott led the squad with eight digs followed by Laine Johnson with seven, Deen with five, Demayah Hooker and Felux and with three apiece, Sara Stubblefield with two, and Hall and Roberts with one each.

At the net, Northcutt logged three blocks followed by Hines with two and Roberts with one.

Brownwood wraps up the first half of district action at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Graham.
