A memorial service with military honors for Dennis Earl Popham, age 81, of May, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Grace Baptist Church in Early.  Dennis passed from this life on Tuesday, October 2, 2024.

Dennis was born on May 10, 1943, in Lubbock to Winnie Merle (Teaff) Popham and Erven Lee Popham. Dennis went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force for three years.  Following his military service, Dennis married Frances Ann Franklin on July 30, 1965, in Odessa. He worked for P & P Land Services for several years. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.  Dennis enjoyed working on cars and with electronics. Most important to Dennis was his family and his church.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frances Popham, his two children, Garry Lee Popham and wife Michelle and Stacy Ann Fitting and her husband Chris: three grandchildren, Leslie Popham, Kelby Popham, and Haley Popham, and five great-grandchildren.

Dennis was preceded in death by a son, Steven Earl Popham, his brother, Ernie Popham and his parents.
