Jerry Allen Sr.

Jerry Douglas Allen Sr., 56, of Brownwood Tx passed away September 29, 2024.

Jerry was born on July 18, 1968, to Clyde and Kathrine (Moore) Allen in Marion, Ohio.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2024, in the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Hall officiating. Interment will follow directly after at the Zephyr Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Blaylock Funeral Home.

He loved to go camping and fishing, Jerry also loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Jerry married the love of his life Serena Mae Kite on October 5, 1986.

Jerry was the sole owner of Allens Tree Service. He loved his job, and he loved seeing his customers’ reactions after he finished the job. He was proud of the quality of services he provided. He would often take his wife Serena to his job sites so she could see his hard work.

He is survived by his wife Serena Mae Allen (Kite), his two sons Jerry Douglas Allen Jr. wife Kylee Rittner and Kevin Allen. His two daughters, Elizabeth Allen and Jessica Allen. Jerry’s grandkids, Justice Smith, Holly Willett, Ricky Willett, Conner Allen, Aleenia Dull, Jessie Allen, Kinley Finwick, Journey Guerrero and Jonathon Wilder. Jerry’s siblings, Tim Allen wife Penny of Alabama, Mark Allen wife Marie of Merkle, Kenneth Allen wife Jennie of Florida, Micheal and Sharron Conley of Ohio, Brenda McGuire of Brownwood, Rosie Little of Brownwood and Chris Allen of Brownwood. His two sons-in-law, Cody Dull and Anthony Willett. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry is preceded in death by his brother Johnny Allen, his parents Clyde Shermon Allen and Katherine Elizabeth Allen. His parents in law, William Hubert Kite and Helen Lousie Kite, and his three brothers in law, Ricky Charles Kite, Freddie Lee Kite and Cecil Clarence Kite.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
