Four teams in the BrownwoodNews.com coverage appear in the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Top 10 six-man rankings ahead of Week 4 games.

The Richland Springs Coyotes (3-0) remained at No. 2 in Class A Division II after Friday’s 57-0 victory over Nueces Canyon. The Coyotes head to Burkeville (1-1) – a 356-mile trip one way – for a 6 p.m. Friday tilt.

In Class A Division I, the May Tigers (3-0) held on to their No. 5 ranking with Saturday night’s 85-40 over Rochelle, which fell from the rankings this week after the loss. The Tigers hit the road Friday to face undefeated Newcastle (3-0) in a 7:30 p.m. outing.

Moving up two spots from No. 8 to No. 6 in Class A Division II this week are the Sidney Eagles (2-1), fresh off a 58-12 victory over Stephenville Faith. The Eagles play host to undefeated Bluff Dale (3-0) at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Joining the rankings this week in Class A Division II are the Zephyr Bulldogs (3-0), who make their season debut at No. 9 after Friday’s 51-20 triumph at Gorman. Zephyr is back home this week, hosting Lingleville at 7:30 p.m.

The Brownwood Lions (1-1) dropped out of the DCTF Class 4A Division I rankings following Friday’s home loss to Glen Rose (3-0), which remained at No. 2 in 4A Division II behind only Carthage.
