Shawna Mann Juarez, age 49, of Brownwood, passed away on September 3, 2024. A memorial service for Shawna will be held at a later date.

Shawna was adopted by Tom and Linda Mann on December 2, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio. She attended Goldthwaite and Brownwood High Schools, and graduated from Brownwood High School. She married the love of her life, Alex Juarez, in Brownwood. Shawna enjoyed crafting, watching the moon and stars, reading, collecting crystals, antiques, and anything vintage, gaming, learning new recipes to cook for her family, music, and long conversations.

My mother was my best friend, she was there for a shoulder to cry on, as I would for her. She didn’t care much for receiving. A smile, a laugh, and a thank you would light up her face. The joy and love she had brought me exceeded what I would show, but she knew I loved her. She was funny, sensitive, caring, and a kind soul to her family and friends. Everyone who knew her truly enjoyed her presence and honesty.

Shawna is survived by her husband, Alex Juarez; her sons, Taylor Dodd and Bryce Juarez; mother, Linda Mann; brother, Eddie Mann; and sister, Pam Mann.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Mann.

Online condolences, memories and tributes can be made to the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
