Lowell Bobby Watson, widely known as Bobby, age 72, of Goldthwaite, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, in Port Arthur, Texas. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., September 09, 2024 at Wallace Creek Cemetery in San Saba, Texas and will be officiated by Pastor Robert Lingle. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba.

Born on January 16, 1952, in San Saba, Texas, to LB Watson and Hester Talley. Bobby was a dedicated welder and heavy equipment operator who worked for DuBose Gate and Pipe Company and Mills County. He had a passion for tinkering with old cars, camping, fishing, and playing the guitar. Bobby was a member of Central Baptist Church in San Saba.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Watson, of Goldthwaite; a son, Robert Watson, and his wife Cordy, of Goldthwaite; two daughters, Sandra Butterfras and her husband Paul, of Comanche, and Vicki Butterfras and her husband Tracy, of Goldthwaite; two sisters, Ella Bea Williams of Lorena and Elaine Chastain of Santa Anna; and ten grandchildren, Tiffany, TJ, Damon, Justin, Katie, Shelby, Zachary, Joshua, Paula, and Willie. Bobby also leaves behind several great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
