ZEPHYR – The Brownwood JV Lions cross country team finished second in their draw at the Zephyr Invitational cross country meet Wednesday.

Competing for the Lions were Bryce Booth, who placed second overall in a time of 20:31, followed by EJ Stanfield (4^th, 21:02), Valente Cardenas (8^th, 21:24), Alejandro Gomez (14^th, 21:47), Gio Diaz (18^th, 22:09), Tru Pesina (19^th, 22:09) and Hayden Padgett (24^th, 22:33).

The varsity Lions will compete at the regional preview in Lubbock Saturday.
