The Wings and Wheels benefit fundraiser for the Rising Star Volunteer Fire Department will take place Saturday September 7. The Fly-in, classic car and tractor show will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 426 County Road 290. Drive 4 miles North of Rising Star on Hwy 183 and follow the signs on County Road 290.

Sausage Wraps will be served at noon. The price for entry and food is by a donation

The event will continue from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rising Star Fire Station at 127 N. Main.

Fajita Tacos will be served at 6 p.m. and the raffle ticket drawing will be at 7 p.m. Raffle tickets are available at www.risingstarfd.org

Raffle items are: a gun safe, 2-man deer stand, Remington 12 gauge shotgun, Savage 17 Super Mag, ¼ Angus beef, 4-man guided dove hunt, heavy duty smoker and a porch swing
