BRONTE – The Bangs Lady Dragons posted a 3-3 weekend record en route to a runner-up finish in the white bracket of the Bronte volleyball tournament.

On Thursday, Bangs fell to Veribest and Miles, but defeated the Bronte JV to land in the white bracket.

On Saturday, the Lady Dragons began the day with victories of 25-18, 20-25, 25-23 over Van Horn and 25-20, 26-24 over Sterling City to reach the white bracket championship game, where they fell to Harper.

The Lady Dragons (10-10) will next visit Brownwood at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
