Linda Faye Derrick Williams, 71, passed away at her home on the Williams Ranch, south of San Saba on Monday, August 26, 2024, after a long illness. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Cherokee Cemetery in Cherokee, Texas.

Linda Faye was born in San Angelo on January 28, 1953, to Howard and Faye Dell Derrick of Eldorado. She graduated from Eldorado High School and Texas Tech University. Linda Faye married Thomas Keith Williams, her childhood boyfriend, on July 20, 1974. They lived in Midland and Austin before moving in 2005 to the ranch in San Saba County. They had two children, Thomas Scott Williams and Hunter Ross Williams. They all enjoyed the outdoors, ranching, hunting and shooting. Her life revolved around her Williams boys. Linda loved to travel, whether it was an exotic overseas vacation or somewhere in the United States to a baseball tournament with her boys.

Linda Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Williams, son Scott Williams, son Ross Williams, father Howard Derrick, brother Gary Derrick and mother-in-law and father-in-law Florence and James Williams.

She is survived by her mother, Faye Dell Derrick, of San Angelo. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins and friends. She considered Charlie Carsey, Mason Kammlah, Todd Hooton, and the Williams Ranch hunters as extended family.
