The Early Police Department shared the following information on social media Saturday afternoon:

Early Police and Fire, along with Brown County Sheriff’s Office and AMR Ambulance all responded to a major accident in the 1500 block of Early Blvd. after a red dually pickup failed to stop for a blue half ton pickup making a right turn from the outside east bound lane. The driver of the blue pickup was flown by AirEvac helicopter from the scene. The driver of the red pickup refused medical treatment. Early Blvd. was shut down for about 30 minutes while emergency personnel extricated the patient and loaded him into the helicopter. The accident is still under investigation.
