The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

• Aaryan Corbet Amburgey pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Against a Public Servant and Felon in Possession of a Firearm and was sentenced to 50 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Darrell Alan Thacker, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Cody Joe Gault pled guilty to the felony offense of Online Solicitation of a Minor and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Gorge Ferrell Bishop, Jr., on probation for the felony offense of Tampering With of Fabricating Physical Evidence, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Jonathan Dale Holland pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Charley Dee Phillips, Jr., on probation for the felony offense of Attempted Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon, was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Jimmy Berglan, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Sammy Lee Fulton pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 20 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
• Shane Francis, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
