LAKE BROWNWOOD

Black bass are fair with catches up to 5.68 pounds on Hag’s F5 tornados in Blue flake on the ledges with shaky heads and on cranks off the rocks and brush piles in 12-20 feet around the mid lake to upper end early and late. Crappie are slow around docks with brush on minnows in 15-18 feet. White bass are fair on crappie jigs, trolling crankbaits. There is some schooling action all over the lake but fish do not stay up long. Catfish are good with catches up to 8 pounds on prepared bait at baited hole and drifting cut baits on the main lake flats.
