Comanche County Medical Center issued the following press release Monday:

Comanche County Medical Center (CCMC) Health System is proud to announce new visiting physician, Dr. Brady Miller, specializing in pain management, will see patients at CCMC’s Doctors Medical Center. Dr. Miller will see patients in Comanche one day a week, beginning August 21, 2024, bringing his pain management expertise to the community he once called home.

Dr. Miller, a Comanche native and valedictorian of Comanche High School’s Class of 2011, has always had a passion for medicine, inspired by his father’s dedication as a family medicine physician. After graduating from the Honors College at Texas Tech University with a 4.0 GPA, Dr. Miller earned his medical degree from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 2019, where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX, where he was appointed Chief Resident and elected into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He also received the Chair’s Academic Achievement Award. Following his residency, Dr. Miller completed fellowship training in pain management.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Brady Miller back to Comanche,” said Dr. Larry Troxell, CEO of CCMC Health System. “His exceptional background and dedication to patient care will be a tremendous asset to our community. We look forward to the positive impact he will have on our patients.”

Nikki Stark, COO of CCMC Health System, added, “Dr. Miller’s return to his hometown is a testament to his commitment to serving his community. We are excited to have him on board and confident that his expertise in pain management will greatly benefit our patients.”

Dr. Miller will be partnering with Dr. Norman Dozier, a full-time pain specialist in Abilene, TX. Together, they will take a proactive approach to managing chronic pain, leveraging the latest technology and a network of doctors to help relieve patient suffering.
