The Brown County Museum of History issued the following press release:

We are thrilled to announce Gilligan’s Luau, the first annual fundraiser gala hosted by the Brown County Museum of History, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the beloved television series Gilligan’s Island, starring onetime Brownwood resident Bob Denver.

We cordially invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening on Saturday, September 7 at 6:00 PM.

Event Highlights:

● Enjoy cocktails and a delicious tropical dinner buffet.

● Participate in fun outdoor games and capture memories at our photo stations.

● Enter our 50/50 raffle and the Gilligan lookalike competition.

● Test your knowledge with Gilligan’s Island trivia and more! Dress in your best luau attire or come as your favorite character from the show.

This casual, fun-filled evening promises to be a wonderful time for all, while also supporting a great cause. All proceeds from the event will benefit Children’s Programming at the Museum, helping to inspire and educate the next generation.

How to Reserve Your Table: Tables for 8 are available for $500 starting August 1st. You can purchase your table online or visit the Museum. Gather your friends and family and make it a night to remember

For Sponsorships & Table Information: Please visit www.browncountymuseum.org or contact Kyndall Howard at (325) 217-2270 or Jane Rodgers at (214) 499-6719 for more details.
