Lake Brownwood State Park has announced on social media its 90th anniversary celebration will take place Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12.
The public is invited to a day of learning and fun at Lake Brownwood. Explore the park and learn about the history, nature, recreation and everything else it has to offer. Activities include archery, catch and release fishing, wildlife, and more.
Park entrance for this event is free.
Friday, October 11attendance is exclusively for local schools. If you are a school or homeschool group interested in attending the event, send an email to [email protected].
Saturday, October 12, attendance is open to the general public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those attending should meet at the dining hall, and everyone should bring a sense of curiosity.
