The annual Elm Grove Youth Rodeo is slated for 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 through Saturday, Aug. 3, open to students who completed the 12th grade of younger as of June. A barbecue dinner will be held ahead of Saturday’s action at 5:30 p.m.
Events include the grand entry, ranch bronc riding, high school bareback riding, high school tie down roping, pee wee barrels (8 & under), grade school boys calf riding, pee wee goat scramble (8 & under), grade school girls barrels, grade school breakaway roping, high school wild horse race, high school girls goat tying, pee wee goat slapping, grade school goat tying, high school ribbon roping, high school girls barrels and high school bull riding.
