Eight Sentenced in District Court

Michael Murray, 35th District Attorney, released the following information on eight cases recently heard in the Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith presiding:

Wade Keith Dixon pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, and was sentenced to ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Timothy Delisle pled guilty to the felony offense of Indecency with a Child-Contact, and was sentenced to eight (8) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Gage Aulstin Rose, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation, was adjudicated and sentenced to eight (8) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Larry Darnell Johnson, on probation for the felony offenses of Assault Family Violence – Occlusion, and Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, was adjudicated and sentenced to five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jason Trent Sproles, on probation for the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone, Burglary of a Habitation, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Aaron Smith, on probation for the felony offenses of Harassment of Public Servant, and Felon in Possession of Firearm, was revoked and sentenced to four (4) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Marlon Antonio Wesley, on probation for the state jail felony offenses of Delivery of Marihuana – Drug Free Zone, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to fifteen (15) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Derric Bryan McEachern, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Attempt to Commit Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, was sentenced to eighteen (18) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
