The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding felony cases recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding:

Erick Jeremiah Oneill, pled guilty to felony offense of Online Solicitation of a Minor and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institution Division.

Joel Jay Slayton, on probation for the felony offense of Evading Arrest was revoked and sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Cody Lee Porter, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone was revoked and sentenced to Four (4) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
