The Early Police Department investigated several residential burglaries
over the weekend.

Early Sunday morning 7/14 at approximately 2:55AM, officers responded to
a reported burglary in the 500 block of Longhorn Dr. where a homeowner
who was out of town was alerted by his ring camera. The suspect did make
entry into the residence and several items were taken from the home.

At approximately 6AM, a resident in the 200 block of McDonald Dr. reported
he was reviewing his ring camera and observed 2 subjects going through
his vehicle. He also reported items taken from his vehicle.

At 710AM, officers responded to the 500 block of Longhorn Dr. where a resident
reported someone had broken into their vehicle. One caller reported
finding a weed trimmer left on his property, possibly stolen from another residence.

At 12:55AM Monday morning 7/15, officers responded to an
address in the 300 block of East River Oaks where a homeowner woke up to
find someone in their house. The suspect ran west on East River Oaks but
no vehicle was seen. Several items were taken from this residence as
well.

Detectives are currently following up on all of these reported crimes.
We are asking everyone to check their home security systems to see if
they have video of any suspects on Saturday or Sunday night. If anyone
recognizes the subject in the posted video, we ask that you contact the
Early Police Department at 325-646-5322.

The suspect appears to be a white male and was seen to be wearing a hoodie and some type of face covering, as well as wearing glasses. Any information, regardless of how
small it may seem could be helpful. We also ask that everyone lock all
their doors and windows in their homes and vehicles. Security lights are
always a good source to discourage a burglar and as always we ask that
if you see anything suspicious or out of place please contact the Early
Police Department.
