The Wild Duck Marina posted the following information on its Facebook page regarding the postponement of the 13th Annual Firework Bash, which was originally slated to take place Saturday, July 6:
The fireworks show has been rescheduled for 8/31/24. That is the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend! We appreciate everyone’s support and understanding that the storm yesterday was beyond anyone’s control. The factors around the decision to reschedule are based on first, safety as each rack and shell will need to be inspected for any potential water or structural damages. Secondly is the logistics involved regarding ATF/state permitting and insurance requirements for scheduled show dates. Lastly, for all of our sponsors/donors and spectators, we want to make sure that the largest amount of patrons are available to watch and enjoy the show.
More information will be posted as we finalize entertainment plans for that weekend.
