The Brown County Sheriff’s Office posted the following information on Facebook Wednesday morning:

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident which occurred on Friday, May 31, 2024 near the Jim Ned bridge at Thrifty. A desert tan military surplus HMMWW (Humvee) drove through three fences between County Road 137 and County 131. The Humvee had three doors removed and the fourth door was the canvas version. The Humvee had a flat tire on the front right side. If any information is available about the location of this vehicle or owner, please call the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, 325-646-5510.
