Brownwood Area Chamber Announces Otis Felton As New Chamber Executive Director

The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce posted the following information on Facebook Tuesday afternoon:
Board President, Dr. Dayna Prochaska of Ranger College announced Mr. Otis Felton as the new Executive Director of the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce. The announcement came during the opening remarks of the 118th Annual Membership Banquet held on Thursday, June 27th, at the Brownwood Coliseum.
With a career spanning over 48 years, Otis Felton has extensive senior-level management experience in both the banking industry and governmental sector. During his time at the FDIC, Otis held several senior management positions and played a pivotal role in establishing FDIC’s first Diversity Initiative Program. A professional speaker and consultant, Otis is also a published author with his book titled “Receiving the Promises of God.” He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from National University in San Diego and an Effective Executive Leadership Certification from Cornell University. He served six years in the Army earning the Bronze Star and The Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. Otis and his wife, Carmaleta, co-chaired the 2017 Pat & Emmitt Smith Celebrity Invitational Gala and The Leukemia Man & Woman of the Year events.
Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in civic organizations and served on numerous non-profit boards.
Otis is dedicated to being involved in the affairs of Brownwood and working with the community.
